Over the weekend, the Daily Mirror had an “exclusive” how the Duchess of Sussex will join her husband at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands, which will begin this coming weekend. A part of the Daily Mirror reporting. Not that I believed the Mirror report, I had already been saying for weeks that I thought Meghan would probably come to The Hague with the kids. I believed that the mirror was doing exactly what I had done – an educated guess. Anyway, a Sussex spokesperson has now confirmed this: Meghan is going to the Invictus Games.
The Duchess of Sussex will join Prince Harry at the Invictus Games in The Hague for the first few days, a spokesman for the couple said. The international competition will be held in The Hague, Netherlands from 16 to 22 April after being delayed by the epidemic.
Meghan first appeared in an official engagement with Harry on September 24, 2017 when she attended the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games in Toronto, Canada, although the pair sat about 18 seats apart. The next day, the pair appeared hand in hand for their first official public appearance in wheelchair tennis together.
Team UK competitor Daniel O’Connor, who hails from Hereford and suffers from chronic pain, is competing in archery and indoor rowing at this year’s Games. He praised Meghan’s “unwavering support” for the Games.
Harry and Meghan, who live in the United States, did not attend the Duke of Edinburgh memorial service in London last month.
[From Sky News]
LMAO “Harry and Meghan, who live in the United States, did not attend the Duke of Edinburgh memorial service in London last month …” My God, they are so salty! They really can’t stand the fact that they can’t be ashamed or guilty of coming back to Harry whenever they break their finger. They can’t stand the fact that he’s no longer playing their dumb game. The more they agree on Harry’s absence from Philip’s Memorial Service, the more I want Harry and Megan to leave the United Kingdom completely empty. Not meeting the Queen, not checking in with Prince Charles, nothing. Just fly to the Netherlands and then back to Montesito.
As Meghan confirms her presence in the “first few days” … I mean, it’s just a one-week event. What will he do, fly to Montesito again in two days? I guess she can, but it would be great if she stayed for the whole event. Although I will take whatever I get! You know all pictures would be great.
