At the end of the day, no one from the British royal family attended the Palm Beach wedding of Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. Not surprisingly, before the wedding, the British media made a big fuss about how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were invited, and how embarrassing it would be if the Sussexes attended the wedding without attending Prince Philip’s memorial service. British papers further suggested that Harry and Meghan could only go to Palm Beach and that it would be an easy ride from Montesito. It was asinine. However, Harry and Megan did not go. Not even Prince William and Kate. So now * that * has become a story.
David Beckham’s eldest son is getting married in Brooklyn – without his father’s royal friends. Becks and Posh invited Kate and William to a মিল 3 million star-studded wedding in Florida. But the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – who had Beckhams among the guests at their wedding in 2011 – turned down the request.

A source close to Beckhams said: “David and Victoria wrote a letter to William and Kate inviting them and their family to their son’s wedding and William wished them all the best but they were unable to attend.”
The source claimed that Prince William and Kate had always been Beckham’s favorites, as opposed to rumored guests Harry and Megan, but cited security as one of the reasons for not appearing at Cambridge. “David’s attachment and history go back to William and Kate and they have a very strong relationship and they were their choice as wedding guests,” our source said. “It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry. They are the ones David and Victoria are connected to and it was always about them because they have a long history together.”

I mean … David Beckham befriended both Harry and William and followed a professional relationship with both Victoria Kate and Megan. Victoria wanted Meghan and Kate to wear her designs. David wanted the princes to keep a good word for his knighthood (which he has not yet received). That being said, my guess is that Beckham sent invitations to both Cambridge and Sussex knowing that both couples would refuse. I seriously suspect that David and Victoria were arguing “If we invite William, we can’t invite Harry!” It sounds like William’s glowing fever dream.
