Bitch | Thandeway Newton denies that he was fired from MM3 for arguing with Channing

Thandeway Newton has been outspoken about the sexism and racism he has faced in his career, and he has spoken well of it before MeToo. The last time we covered her was a few months ago when she was calling Shawn Penn for her transphobic runt. She is a fantastic actress who knows her worth and she is generous, aware and unforgiving about it. He’s not afraid to talk about people, which I admire in a person. There should be plenty of space for him in Hollywood, especially now that he is more aware of the issues he is talking about.

This is a lead in this claim from The Sun. [via Page Six] Thandeway was fired from Magic Mike 3 for a heated argument with Channing Tatum over an Oscar slap. Although there is no word on which side Thandeway and Channing were on, it is safe to say that he was Tim Smith and Channing was Tim Rock. We know Channing’s girlfriend, Joe Kravitz, Tim Rock for one thing. Thundiway replaces Salma Hayek exactly 11 days after filming began. What happened to him for leaving MM3 must have been serious. He denied the allegations in a statement issued Friday stating “Similar, baseless allegations concerning Chanel’s case have been made more than once. His representative said it was a lie.

Thandeway Newton will no longer be performing with Channing Tatum in the upcoming Magic Mike’s Last Dance. But he denies that his departure was the result of an alleged argument with Tatum, who starred in and produced the film. (Vanity Fair reached out to representatives of Newton and Tatum for comment.)

On Wednesday, it was announced that Salma Hayek will replace Newton in the third Magic Mike installment as the new female leader. A Warner Bros. spokesman issued the following statement to Variety: “Newton has decided to move away from the production of Warner Bros. Pictures’ Magic Mike’s Last Dance to deal with family issues.” A Newton spokesman has denied a report in The Sun alleging a dispute between Newton and Tatum, telling the Daily Mail Online, “This report is completely false.”

Earlier in the day, The Sun reported that an argument between Newton and Tatum had become “unimaginably evil” last week, which was reported to have hit “surprising” levels before leaving the set. “They fell for the Oscar defeat,” claimed one crew member, apparently referring to Will Smith’s slapping of Chris Rock on stage. The source added, “It was an exciting word exchange, but suddenly it escalated – Channing got into the car and he disappeared.”

Filming for the third Magic Mike film has reportedly stopped after 11 days. The source claimed that after the conflict, Tatum said, “I’m not working with him anymore.”

I like how the representative of Thandiway closed it with a sentence. This seems to be true, because he does not suffer fools. Although I think Channing is a decent person and will listen to him and not be stubborn about it, I can see it happen. Although the sun makes a lot of wholesale (see any story about H&M). Something serious has happened to take Thandeway so far in filming. I hope her children and husband are OK. I hope this rumor doesn’t affect his career because he is talented and fascinated on screen. I would rather see her as a character any day than Salma Hayek.

Update: After I wrote this story I saw Page Six reporting that Thandeway was going to rehab and that she had separated from her husband. (Thanks to Amirah for the tip.) I hope she is OK and will get the help she needs.

Chris Pine and Thandiway are very hot together and I have to watch this movie! Here’s a link to the All the Old Knives trailer, it’s on Amazon.
