Hailey Bieber He opened up about his “life-changing” medical fears after suffering a mini-stroke due to a hole in his heart.
Hailey Published She had a medical procedure to close a hole in her heart after being hospitalized with Stoke last month.
The 25-year-old supermodel posted a YouTube video titled “Tell My Story” on Wednesday. She said she was having breakfast with her husband, a pop singer Justin BieberWhen he felt the symptoms of a March 10 stroke.

“We were in the middle of talking, and all of a sudden I felt this weird sensation that my arm went down from my shoulder to the tip of my finger.”
Hailey says her anxious husband asked if she was OK.
“When I went to respond, I couldn’t speak. The right side of my face was starting to sag,” he said. “So obviously, I immediately thought I was having a stroke, like a full-blown stroke.”
He said Justin also suspected he had had a stroke. Luckily, a health worker was nearby and assessed Hailey before taking her to a hospital in Palm Springs.

Later, Hailey’s doctor told her she had a “mini-stroke” when a blood clot formed in her heart and left her brain.
He explained that each baby is born with a hole in the upper chamber of the heart called the foramen ovale. Her Foreman Oval never stopped when she was born and took her first breaths.
Hailey said her doctor told her to have a blood clot, “escaped through a hole in my heart and went to my brain and that’s why I was suffering. [mini stroke]”

Hailey said he went through a patented Foreman Oval (PFO) closure procedure to close his heart hole. “It’s been very smooth … I’m recovering really fast.”
Doctors have told Hailey a variety of causes – including birth control pills – that could cause her heart to clot.
Other reasons include a recent long flight to Paris, a positive Covid-19 diagnosis and severe migraine.
