Fans of it The real housewife The franchise first met Teresa, Joe and their four daughters in May 2009 during the first season of the SpinOff series. As if the show lacked drama, in July 2013, Teresa and Joe were charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud, wire fraud and bank fraud, among other crimes. Joe failed to pay taxes from 2004 to 2008, leading to additional charges against the father of four.
After hitting an appeals deal, Teresa was sentenced to 15 months in prison and Joe to 41 months – which allowed the ex-couple to be shocked so they could continue to be parents to their growing children.
Following her release in March 2019, Joe was sent back to his native Italy, where Gia and her sisters Milania, Gabriela and Adriana often visit, before moving to the Bahamas.
In addition to showing off her flawless body in teen bikinis around the world, Gia has never been ashamed to go under the knife for various cosmetic procedures.
“I’m an adult now,” Gia shared her nose job via Instagram in July 2020. “It was an insecurity I had for some time and I was never happy and so comfortable in my own skin !!”

Teresa is not the only one who is proud of her skin. Gia is currently studying at Rutgers University where she is studying criminal law with plans to pursue a career in law.
