Williams has just broken the foundation of a huge $ 135 million studio in Fayetteville, Ga., According to The Hollywood Reporter.

Williams said his ambitious project began with a vision. He wanted to create a facility where stories could be told that shaped society’s thinking. He also envisioned a place where people from underdeveloped communities could receive on-the-job training.

“It’s all about telling a story,” Williams said. TV and film are such powerful mediums. Sometimes, they help to understand where the thinking and culture of the society is formed. “

Cinema South Studios on 85 acres of land in Fayetteville, Ga. (A few miles from Tyler Perry Studios). The complex has 17 buildings with numerous sound stages and rooms.

Williams’ studio will have a clothing rental facility, transportation company, post-production and audio production facilities.

The complex will also house Cinema South Lighting and Grip, Georgia’s largest minority-owned lighting and grip company.

The facility is scheduled to open in 2023.
